The default, 20, only gives about 50 minutes of real-time daylight, and when you are building in your settlements that's a PITA. Personally, I like a timescale of 8, it gives just over 2 hours real-time of daylight. Of course that would make sense, that's 10% of 7 hours. When timescale was set to 1 (1:1), the same fast-travel took only 42 minutes. It’s at least reassuring to have this mod as a last resort.
